Special events for next week! (6/22/2013 - 6/29/2013)

It's the weekend again! What can we do next week? Don't worry. Once again, Palestine has your back for local events that you can attend and enjoy.

June 22, Saturday:

Technically not next week, however tomorrow is All Day with Adrian Peterson! Celebrate our hometown's all pro running back with a parade that starts at the court house at 10am. After the parade, join us at Dogwood Park for food and fun.

June 24, Monday:

Open city council meeting is scheduled for June 24th at 5:30. Come be a part in your local government. You can find more information at cityofpalestinetx.com

June 25, Tuesday:

The family film festival at the Schulman Theatres Dogwood 6 continues this Tuesday! Show up at 9am for 50 cent movies to help out a local charity. This Tuesday is Horton Hears a Who, the CGI adaptation of the classic book, well received by critics.

June 28, Friday:

As usual, live music at Bishop's Brisket House, from 5:30 to 8pm in the Palestine Mall!

There's also live music and wine at Sweet Dreams Winery from 5-8pm! For more information, call 903-549-2027.

And finally, Granny Muffin Wines is doing their Fab Friday at 5pm!

June 29, Saturday:

More live music at Sweet Dreams! 11am - 8pm

Backstreet Molly at Outlaw Country! Starts at 8pm.
